WARNING: Waves of 4-6m expected due to damaging winds

A warning was issued by the South African Meteorological Services (SAWS) for 4m to 6m waves due to damaging winds along the KZN coast Sunday night and Monday.

Municipality of ThekwiniMsawakhe Mayisela’s spokesman said the town was on high alert.

“Emergency personnel are on standby after the SAWS issued a stern warning about the likelihood of damaging high winds along the KZN coast on Monday morning. The city has been cited as one of the areas along the coast likely to bear the brunt of these winds.

Boy raped in hospital while waiting for surgery – his mother tells all

The infamous Mamelodi day hospital came under fire after a 13-year-old boy was allegedly raped in hospital by another patient.

The boy was admitted to hospital after injuring his leg while playing football with his friends. According to information shared with the Rekord by the boy’s mother, the incident took place on May 14, 2022.

She said her son was in a room with three male patients. One of them allegedly climbed on the boy, held a knife to his throat, climbed onto the boy’s bed and raped him.

Another “most dangerous” award for Mzansi, isn’t it? According to a group of international security experts at Verisk Maplecroftfour towns in South Africa are now JOINT-FIRST in their serious crime risk index.

The [email protected] Security Index, which ranks 579 urban centers with populations over one million based on their exposure to a range of threats, assesses a number of factors, ranging from “prospects for terrorism” to ” the intensity of the conflict.

So it’s perhaps all too familiar that some of South Africa’s biggest hubs are listed among criminal havens. Verisk Maplecroft named Cape Town, Ekurhuleni, Johannesburg, and Pretoria at the top of the tree.

Baby found crying HYSTERICALLY over murdered mother’s body

First a gunshot and then the cry of a baby that led residents to a dirt road near Laezonia, where the mother’s lifeless body was discovered.

The discovery was made on Friday around 7:00 p.m., rue Pretorius. According to information from CERT SAa local resident heard what sounded like a gunshot near his home.

When they went to investigate, they heard a baby crying in the grass beside the road.
